This CD was fairly difficult to find in the UK until a few months ago, where it is now fairly easy to get. I would certainly have to recommend it to all Star Trek fans as it present a great extended version of Dennis McCarthy's cerebral Deep Space Nine theme. It starts as the original, but with an added drum rhythm, but then a fairly unexpected electric guitar riff bursts out. While to many this sounds horrendous, it is in fact pretty cool and makes a refreshing change to the rest of it. The remainder is just sections of guitar and sections of the tune that eventually fades out. Passage Terminated is a fairly non-descript, but relaxing mix of synths and piano. I'm not sure whether it show up in any episodes, but it makes a nice ethereal piece on its own. An interesting single for Star Trek junkies, but not one that is likely to be very easy to find.
